Plato's Academy, or the Ancient Gymnasium, is the site of the ruins of the school in which Socrates, Plato and Aristotle held forth. Historical records indicate Plato was buried here. Visitors today can visit the archaeological site of the Academy located on either side of the Cratylus street in the area of Colonos and Plato's Academy.
