Comrat Jewish Cemetery

This small cemetery was left abandoned when the families of the deceased left the city of Comrat. Members of the Jewish community in Comrat and Basarabeasca have taken the initiative to restore the cemetery. There are 51 headstones standing or laying on the ground in this cemetery. Several of them are unreadable due to erosion. It is unknown whether there are more burials here that are not marked.
