Roudnice nad Labem (Czech pronunciation: [ˈroudɲɪtsɛ ˈnad labɛm]; German: Raudnitz an der Elbe) is a town in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 13,000 inhabitants. The town is located on the left bank of the Elbe River in the Lower Ohře Table. Roudnice nad Labem was probably founded in the 12th century and became a town in the 13th century. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone. The main landmark is the Roudnice Castle, a Baroque building with late Romanesque origin.
