About 50 km southeast of Ljubljana. This is one of the few remaining German cemeteries in the Kočevje (Germ. Gottschee) region. The German name of the village was Altlag. The cemetery was restored through funding provided by several groups. The cemetery was established after 1824 and comprises three sets of graves: Gottschee Germans, postwar Slovenians, and people killed during the Italian Offensive of August 1942, as well as a monument to the Slovenian poet Miran Jarc.
