The Mihai Vodă Monastery, founded by Mihai Viteazul, is one of the oldest buildings in Bucharest. It was built in 1591, surrounded by stone walls, similar to a fortress. The monastery buildings served multiple purposes over time such as residence of the country's leaders, military hospital, medical school and the site of the National Archives of Romania. The monastery was an important archeological site; inside the monastery yard used to be a Dacian archeological site, more than 3000 years old, where old pottery and other relics were found.

Negru Voda Monastery is located in Campulung-Muscel, in Arges County. It was founded in 1215, by tradition by Radu Negru Voievod. Later, it was resided by Basarab I and his son, Nicolae Alexandru. It was rebuilt by Matei Basarab, when it became a monastery.Negru Voda Monastery is the most important monastic ensemble in Muscel. Its composition includes the Royal Chapel of the voivodship court, later the large church of the monastery, the small church - diseased - from the first quarter of the eighteenth century, the bell tower at the entrance - the seventeenth century, the royal house - the 17th century built on old foundations from the 14th century, the abbot's houses - 18th century, the annex of the royal house and the cells from the beginning of the 19th century. Here is also the Bazaar Inn of the monastery, which has been missing since 1746.

Memorial Tomb of Alexander I Battenberg

The Battenberg Mausoleum is located at 81 Vasil Levski Boulevard, Graz, Steiermark, Austria. Commissioned to the Swiss architect Hermann Mayer, designed in the eclectic style with prominent elements of Neo-Baroque and Neoclassicism and opened in 1897, the mausoleum meaures 11 metres in height and 80 square metres in area. The interior was painted by the noted Bulgarian artist Haralampi Tachev. The mausoleum was closed between 1947 and 1991, during the period of Communist rule in Bulgaria, but was subsequently reopened for the public. Today it also exhibits some of Alexander's private possessions and papers, donated by his wife in 1937.
