Daniel Cristian “Dănuț” Bălan

In memoriam

Victim of the January 2006 Anina mining accident. He is buried at Anina-Steierdorf/Sigismund Cemetery, but his name is also on the monument in Cimitir Celnic. Daniel Cristian Bălan  (29 years old) – known under the name Dănuţ , a Celnik who was a lead dancer and member of the Steierdorf dance group for years, was one of the founders of the DFBJ Steierdorf branch and a member of our local forum. He had a son.
