Edvard Kardelj

In memoriam

A.k.a. Sperans, Bevc, or Krištof. Born and died in Ljubljana. Helped organize mass killings of political opponents after the Second World War. Politician and philosopher, the most influential communist ideologue in Yugoslavia. Many structures were named after Kardelj in communist Slovenia; they were mostly renamed after the fall of communism.
