Lea Rozenberger

In memoriam

Lea, a Yugoslavian Jewish girl the daughter of Ludevit and Elza, was deported from her home in Virovitica to the Stara Gradiska Concentration Camp. She was able to survive there until the end of the war, when camp officials began liquidating the camp ahead of liberation. Lea, weakened and exhausted from forced labor, may have been killed on a death march, or otherwise murdered during the camp's clearing.
