One of the first prospectors of Hungarian language, the first Hungarian translator of many parts of the Holy Bible (mostly psalms). He was one of the greatest reformer of Hungarian grammar and orthography. His most famous works are: "Grammatica" (Latin Grammar - lost), "Dictionarium" (Latin - Hungarian Dictionary), "Psaltorium Ungaricum" (Hungarian Psalms)
