Anton Korimšek

In memoriam

Anton Korimšek was scheduled to be drafted into the German army in 1943. He joined the Partisans instead, but then in 1944 switched to the Home Guard forces. He retreated to Carinthia in May 1945, but was forcibly repatriated to Celje. On the way to the Partisans death camp at Teharje he was recognized by a Partisan soldier and presumably beaten to death.
