Edwin Henry Strong

Service No: 13/860 Regiment/Service: Auckland Mounted Rifles, N.Z.E.F. Edwin with his battalion had been sent to Greece to recover from Gallipoli. After few days the men were given some light training for two hours a day which included football and cricket against the navy. Trooper Edwin Strong died on parade ground"syncope" whilst on a short route March and drill. Son of Thomas William and Mary Ann Strong, of Brighton, England.
