Franc Končan

In memoriam

Franc and Marija Končan , from the Starkež farm (Butajnova no. 4), were killed by the Partisans in Butajnova on 14 October 1942. The family was digging potatoes when they saw the Partisans approaching. The mother Franšiška and daughter Francka fled in one direction, and the son Franc and daughter Marija in the other, in an attempt to return to Šentjošt.
