13226 Private Francis Tomey Smith, Died of Wounds (Shell Wound to Chest) received in action, at 20.15 on the 2nd.of November 1916, Aged 22, while serving in "C" Company of the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. Son of Alice Tomey of 166, York Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Francis was originally buried in Janes Military Cemetery, a few miles to the north of Sarigol, exhumed and reburied in Sarigol Cemetery sometime during 1921-22.
