Frank Greenwood

In memoriam

Private 13306 10th Battalion Devonshire Regiment. Died of wounds, aged 24 years. Son of the late Samuel Sandiford Greenwood and Eliza Steadman Greenwood (nee Allen). 21 Brooklands Street Rochdale. Brother of James Edgar, Harry Sandiford, Robert Allen, Annie, Fred -(twin brother) and Samuel Sandiford. Enlisted at Rochdale in September 1914. Served in France before going to Salonika. Employed as a stripper and grinder at Barchant Spinning Company, Rochdale.
