Service No: 14791 Age: 22 Regiment/Service: Devonshire Regiment, 10th Bn. Only son of Amy Augusta and the late Edwin James Lord, 3, Lloyd Street, Sudden, Rochdale. Born at Shaw, enlisted at Bury. Was employed cleaning bombs, when a major explosion occurred and he died from his injuries. A bobbin carrier at Era Mill, Rochdale.
