Herbert-Ernst Vahl

In memoriam

Major General in the Waffen-SS during World War II. He commanded the SS Division Das Reich stationed in Russia and later, the 4th SS Police Division in Greece. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. He was killed in an automobile accident.
