In memoriam

Hugo, Fürst zu Windisch-Graetz, was married at Ludwigslust on October 20, 1849 to Herzogin Luise von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1824-1859), daughter of Paul Friedrich, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, r. 1837-1842, and his wife, Prinzessin Alexandrine von Preussen, with whom he had issue. Following her death, he was married at Teplitz on October 9, 1867 to Princess Matylda Radziwill, daughter of Prince Wilhelm Radziwill, 14.Duke of Nieswiez, and his wife, Gräfin Mathilde Christine von Clary und Aldringen, with whom he had issue.
