Commemorated: Britain Place of Death: Middle East Killed in action at sea on 27 April 1941 when the Dutch troopship DSS Slamat and the destroyers HMS Diamond and HMS Wryneck were sunk in air attacks east of the Peloponnese during the evacuation after the Battle of Greece. In all 17 all ranks of the signal section, and a soldier from No. 3 Line of Communication Signals were lost.
