318786 Trooper J.H. Nicholas The Yorkshire Hussars Royal Armoured Corps 7th. October 1941 Age 22

Captured by the Germans, he was moved to Maleme and thence to Salonika. From there Trooper Nicholas escaped along with two others. While on his escape route he got malaria badly and through weakness and lack of medical attention died on 7 October 1941. He is the son of Frank and Edith Maud.
