Service No: 134901 Age: 23 Regiment/Service: Royal Field Artillery, 'B' Medium Trench Mortar Bty. Son of John and Jane Ellerton, of 4, Station Cottages, Winston, Darlington. According to a plaque in St Andrew’s Church, Winston, he “died of malaria in Salonica, Oct. 28th 1917.”
