Civilian killed during aerial bombardment of Ljubljana on 9 March 1945 by United States Army Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers and B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, with fighters escorts, targeting bomb marshalling yards and rail lines. Death notice in Slovenec 73(59) (14 March 1945), page 3: "The following people fell victim to Anglo-American aerial terrorism on 9 March 1945: ... We shall forever keep in our memory our fellow citizens, who were unexpectedly torn from our midst in blind enmity. The City of Ljubljana"
