Leonard James Moon

In memoriam

He was an international cricketer who played 4 Tests for England in the tour of South Africa 1905/06. An opening batsman he made good starts in most of his innings but had a highest score of 36. He also kept wickets in one Test. He was also an accomplished soccer player. A Second Lieutenant in the Devonshire Regiment, he died of wounds while fighting in Greece in World War 1.
