Nicholas Mindum

In memoriam

Nicholas Mindum was born in Heideschuetz, Plandiste, Vojvodina, Hungary. He died in Veliko Selo, Serbia. Veliko Selo, is about 12 kilometers east of Belgrade near the Danube. The Cemetery there is called Groblje. I assume that is where he is buried because he was not brought back to the States. His daughter, Sophie Mindum-Kurz brought her mother (Nicholas' wife) back to Cincinnati, OH in 1937. Sophie Reichert-Mindum joined her daughter in Salt Lake City, Ut where she became naturalized in (as a Widow) on 21 Mar 1941. For some reason known only to FAG, it will not accept his place birth & death. Probably because they no longer exist under these names.
