Nisim was born on September 25, 1885, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia), to Moishe and Minka Ruben. He was married to Elionor Meier, and he worked as a merchant. He was deported to the Sajmiste Concentration Camp in 1941, where he was murdered.
