Norman James Lang Yellowlees

Son of Thomas Yellowlees and Elizabeth White. ∼ According to an entry in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (date & volume Unknown) Captain N.J.L Yellowlees, M.D. of the Canadian Army Medical Corps was born in Toronto in 1886, graduated from the University of Toronto in 1909, and was in medical practice in that city, probably up to the outbreak of the war. "He is reported to have been drowned at Salonica while attempting to reach a wreck on horseback. The accident was witnessed by a party of nurses from the Toronto University Hospital (No. 4 Canadian General Hospital), the unit to Which Captain Yellowlees was attached."
