In memoriam

Private 75618 'C' Company 11th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Killed in action, aged 29 years. Son of William and Harriet Hunter of 6, Pym Street, Rochdale. Brother of William, Mary Jane, James, Fred, Harold. Enlisted at Rochdale on 3rd September 1914, as 13364 East Lancashire Regiment, but was dismissed in November 1914 under Kings Regulations, 'not likely to become an efficient soldier'. Previously employed as a bill poster.
