Private 6716 12th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers. Killed in action, aged 33 years. Husband of Mary Elizabeth Regan (nee Mullender, later, Pilling), 4, Higher Shore, Littleborough. Formerly of 69, Bridgefield Street, Rochdale. Father of Alice (b.1.12.1903) and Tom (b.1908 - d.1916) Son of Mitchell and Annette. Brother of William Edward, Edward (b.13.4.1886) and Maggie. Enlisted at Manchester. Lived in Rochdale. Previously employed as a mill labourer. Died at the Battle of Machukovo (modern day Evzonoi)
