Albert Prince Barrett

In memoriam

Albert Prince Barrett born in Monks Risborough, Buckinghamshire in 1888. Son of George and Caroline Barrett of Risborough and later Waterperry, Oxfordshire. He was baptised on 10.6.1888 in St Nicholas' Church, Ickford. He married Mary Bowler of Ickford at the same church on 2 January 1915. They went on to have a daughter Ada in 1915 and a son Prinnie in April 1917. Prinnie was born 5 months after he was killed in action at Salonika on 21 November 1916. Albert's brother Frederick was also killed as result of wounds received in Salonika on 26 April 1917.
