In memoriam

DELRAY BEACH — Alexander Constantine Walbridge, 29, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Mr. Walbridge was an aspiring writer, videographer, and comedian; made several music videos; performed improvisational theater focusing on conflict resolution in inner city schools while with City Year Philadelphia in 2001; and was fluent in modern Greek. Survivors include his father, Hoyt Walbridge, East Boothbay, Maine; mother, Iolie Kriezi Walbridge, Athens, Greece; brother, Nicholas Hoyt Walbridge, Philadelphia; grandparents Kenneth and Jean Walbridge, The Villages; grandmother Stephanie Bacon, East Boothbay; stepsister, Anna Bacon; and stepbrother, Nic Bacon. Internment was in the First Cemetery, Athens, Greece, on July 30. A memorial service will be held later in Philadelphia.
