Baker Bucharest, Oct. 2 - Marshall Alexandru Averescu - Rumania's world war generalissimo - died at his Bucharest palace tonight, He was 75 years old. Marshall Averescu was premier of Rumania three times and commander of the Rumanian army in 1913 in the successful war againts Bulgaria. He also was commander of the army in the world war. He was a minister without portfolio in the cabinet of Premier Miron Cristen formed last March, but was not represented when the government was revised. His third cabinet resigned in 1927.
