Alexandru Vaida-Voevod

28th Prime Minister of Romania. He served as prime minister on three separate occasions: First, from December 1, 1919 to March 12, 1920; second, from June 6, 1932 to October 19,1932 and lastly from January 14, 1933 to November 13, 1933. A founder of the National Peasants' Party, he also served as President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania twice. First, from November 28, 1919 to December 1, 1919 and again from June 9, 1939 to September 5, 1940. He also served as Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Internal Affairs three times. He is best remembered for founding the Romanian Front Party in 1935 and supporting the King outside the government bureaucracy.
