Kennedy and Elizabeth Ann Kennedy of Windsor, Vic. Gunner Kennedy, aged 35, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion. 2/2nd Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery - Service No. VX1088 He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in MELBOURNE VIC, also his name is located at panel 16; Supplementary panel 2 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial.
