Ankica “Ann, Nana” Cubelic Zuk

In memoriam

Ann "Nana" Zuk Born May 15th, 1908, Ann passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Nana's full life was immersed in her family and her friends spanning half the world, from Zagreb, Croatia to Cleveland, Florida and California. Her expressive spirit, determined attitude and ability to make light of any situation will be deeply missed and continue to be an inspiration to her family, son Igor Zuk, grandsons David and Douglas Zuk, daughter Nina Gejdos, grandson Tony Zuk, granddaughter Marina Zuk, and a large extended family of friends. Marina and Michael's children, Ali and Samie, benefit from the gift of Nana's unlimited loving attention from toddler to teenager in immeasurable ways. Ann's life will be complete as she returns to Croatia to be forever next to her husband, Anton Zuk M.D. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 16th, 11:00 a.m., at St. Isabella's Church in Terra Linda. In lieu of flowers, in appreciation of the season and her love of children, we suggest bringing an unwrapped toy for tots.
