Anton Nedvěd was a Slovenian-Czech composer and died in Hořovice, Bohemia. He studied music in Prague and was a solo opera singer. he came to Ljubljana in 1856 in and worked as a teacher and singer, and for 26 years as the director of the Ljubljana Philharmonic.
