From Malo Hudo. "The way the communists dealt with those that were returned from the POW camp in Viktring, Austria is painfully illustrated by the murder of Tone Podržaj from Spodnja Draga. He was disabled; after several months of imprisonment he was released to go home. He was then beaten so that the flesh hung off of him; he howled like an animal at his home from the terrible pain. He was so deranged that nobody could recognize him any more. Even the communists were shocked by this torture. After three days they hauled him out of his house again; this was done by Franc and BAnton Podržaj Kastaneto from Črni Vrh at the order of Jože Lavrič, Anton Mehle, and France Keh, saying that 'Matilda ought to sniff him' (the communist expression for being shot with a rifle).
