WW2 Service Australian Army Rank Private WX844 Posting on Death: 2/11th Australian Infantry Battalion, The original grave markers for WX844 Corporal (Cpl) Arthur Liddell and WX1135 Cpl Albert Frank Spencer , both of the 2/11th Infantry Battalion, who were both killed in action on 20 April 1941. Note the wooden grave markers are inscribed 'RIP Arthur Liddell and A. Spencer'. Medals: 1939/45 Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, Australia Service Medal.
