Labour Corps 14114 Private Augustus Robeson, Died at 49th.Staionary Hospital, Bralo on the 25th.December 1918, Aged 40, after transferring to the 961st Area Employment Coy., Labour Corps as 487255. In the 1901 Census, Augustus, Aged 33, worked as a 'Stevedor' and lived with his wife Daisy Age 32 (b.14-8-1878) and four children, Violet, 9 (b.1902), Frederick George, 5 (b.19-6-1905), Stanley Leonard, 3 (b.16-1-1908) and Arthur Bernard, 1 (b.21-4-1910). at 8 Wick Road Tidal Basin East, West Ham, London. The couple later had another child Edwin Augustus who was born on the 18-9-1915. Augustus and Daisy had married in the 2nd.Qtr.of 1900. Daisy died in the 1st.Qtr.of 1920. After Daisy's death, Miss Janet Smith became the legal guardian of the youngest child Edwin.
