Politician. He was a Bosnian socio-political worker and the first Bosniak chairman of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly after the signing of the Dayton Agreement.He was born on May 25, 1937, in Gacko. He finished elementary school in Gacko and high school in Mostar. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo in 1962, then interned at the Municipal Court in Gacko. He was appointed secretary of the SKJ Municipal Committee in Gacko in 1964 and held that position for five years. At the same time, he was a member of the Social and Political Council of the Assembly of the SR of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was elected president of the Gacko Municipality Assembly in 1969 and held that position for five years. He became a member of the Executive Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1974. After four years, he was re-elected as a member of the Executive Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and secretary for work, employment, and social policy of the Executive Council. At the end of 1979, he was elected as the Executive Secretary of the Presidency of the Central Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he held that position for seven years. In 1986, he was elected as the republican public prosecutor of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and simultaneously served as a member of the Central Committee of the SKBiH. After the staged affair, at the end of 1987, he was removed from the republic's public prosecutor position and remained without a job for the next two years. After the end of the first multi-party democratic elections, he was appointed General Secretary of the Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He held that position for the next six years. After the signing of the Dayton Agreement, in the mandate period 1996 - 1998, he was elected as a deputy of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, then as a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and as the first Bosniak chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 1998 to 2000, he served again as a member of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, and a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
