Bogomir Remic was born November 8th, 1923 in Pšenična Polica, teh son of Franc Remic and Marjana Zavrj Remic. He came from a family with seven children. He attended the classical high school in Ljubljana and lived at the Vincentian student dormitory. He was a member of the Catholic Action student group. He joined the Vincentians after he graduated, on August 14th, 1942, and in the fall of 1943 he enrolled at the seminary. In July 1944 he joined the Littoral Home Guard, where he worked as a teacher in Postojna. On December 14th, 1944 he was visiting a family in Hrašče near Postojna and was shot and killed through a window by communist agents.
