Private Bridg Gilbert served with the 8th Bn. The Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry~Service No:14859 He was 27 and the son of William and Ellen Gilbert. He lived at one time as a boarder at The Gardens, Wierton Place, Boughton Monchelsea. He is commemorated on the war memorial in the church at Boughton Monchelsea, Kent.
