Died at sea. Son of James and Rosanna Welford, of Temple St., Brill, Bucks. Cecil Welford 1st (Garrison) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment Born: Brill, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Enlisted: Aylesbury Drowned following the sinking of the troop carrying ship 'Arcadian' after a torpedo attack by German U-boat UC 74 in the Aegean Sea 26 miles North East of Milos.
