The Church of the Assumption of Mary and its cemetery are situated in the town of Bungard, Commune of Selimbar, Sibiu County, Romania. Bungard is approximately 4 miles from the city of Sibiu. The church was built in 1690, the old tower with the date still stands. The nave was rebuilt in 1824.
