Dalnee Cemetery at Blizhniy Khutor, Tiraspol

Location: Tiraspolskaya Street, Blijnii Hutor. It is a mixed cemetery, besides Jewish graves there are Russian and Germans as well. "Dalnee" Cemetery at Blizhniy Khutor, Tiraspol before 1917, Tiraspol was part of Kherson Gubernia, now it is part of Pridnestrovskaya Moldavian Republic, also known as Transnistria Republic Тираспольское Кладбище «Дальнее» на Ближнем Хуторе Тирасполь, Молдавия The project was conducted by Bessarabia SIG, JewishGen in 2014, 2015. All photographs were taken by Nukhim Kamenker, a local resident and a member of the Tiraspol Jewish Community. Dates: Burials in this section are from May 1952. The cemetery has been closed for burials since June 1, 2012. Language of the inscriptions: mostly Russian, some in Romanian and Hebrew. Number of records uploaded to JewishGen JOWBR - 880. There are a number of images with unreadable inscriptions, some because the writing was damaged, others because the photograph was not good.
