Evangelical Cemetery

This cemetery was founded before the WWII to serve the small Evangelical Lutheran community in Braila. Since 1947, due to an agreement with the local Baptist Church, it has also been used for Baptists. Between 1970-1975, because the area was systematized, the cemetery was moved to the present location. Because the Lutheran community of the city is almost gone, the cemetery is not in a good condition, many tombstones are already destroyed, others having unintelligible inscriptions.
