Grad Hošperk
Grad Hošperk (English translation: Hošperk Castle or Hošperk Manor House) was a former Baroque mansion whose ruins are located in Postojna, near Planina pri Rakeku, on a leveled plateau above the river bed of the River Unica. The original castle was first mentioned as the Castle of Unec in 1295. It was acquired in 1846 by Weriand, Fürst zu Windisch-Graetz (1790-1867). The mansion was burned down by partisans during World War II on March 27, 1944. Valuable interiors, the family's archive, and the Windischgrätz family tomb were completely destroyed.
