Groblje Zvečanje
Zvečanje is an old middle Poljica parish, a former katun, located in the eastern part of the picturesque valley, which borders Ostrvica on the west, and reaches the Cetina River on the southeast side. Apart from Zvečanj, the parish also includes the village of Smolonje. The parish has been independent since the 16th century, therefore, before the arrival of the Turks. Zvečanje is in the list of parishes from 1625, made by the apostolic visitor Archbishop Garzadori of Zadar. That year, the parish church of Sv. Mihovil, as well as the parish priest Don Marko Rudanović. The parish then had 300 souls. Even after the liberation from the Turks at the end of the 17th century, the parish was independent and remained so until the middle of the 19th century. In 1849. Organic Decree, no. 95, of the Austrian state authorities, the parish legally lost its independence and was turned into an exposed chaplaincy, dependent on the parish of Kostanje. Between the two world wars, the parish regained the status of an independent parish, which it has to this day. The parish house was built in 1904. She was demolished by Chetnik-Italian collaborators on October 1, 1942. It was thoroughly renovated only in 1984 for the pastorate of Don Mirko Skejić. Registry books R from 1887 to 1948, two volumes; V from 1858 to 1948 are located in MU Omiš. The State of Souls from 1800 is located in ŽU.
