Nuedorf village Cemetery
This Cemetery was on a hill at the edge of the village in the early 1800s. The German settlers had stone monuments made for their loved ones and placed on the graves. When most of the Germans abandoned the village and fled to America in the late 1870s,( Russifacation of 1874 ) the Russians that remained used the headstones to build a barn. The Cemetery is barely recognizable now. The barn still stands as of 2012. The names are not visable, the German poems on the sides of the stones are.
