Slatina Monastery is an orthodox monastery in Romania , built between 1553-1564 in the village of Slatina in the commune of Slatina ( Suceava County ) by Prince Alexandru Lăpușneanu . The church of the monastery is dedicated to the Transfiguration (celebrated every year on August 6).
