The name of this town and cemetery is Soča. The misspelling "Soèa" occurred when this website automatically converted č è and I am unable to correct the name. Soča is approximately 70 km NW of Ljubljana, in the Soča Valley. This was an Austro-Hungarian field hospital cemetery during the First World War and was expanded after the war. Over 1,400 soldiers and prisoners of war are buried here.
