Charles Alfred Warwood was the son of John Warwood and Edith Warwood (nee Gribben), of Christchurch, New Zealand. Died of typhoid fever at the No.2 Australian Stationary Hospital in Mudros, Lesbos, North Aegean, Greece, whilst serving during World War I.
